On April 14th Lowe's calls:
they have received our new water heater.

That means Juergen takes a break in his work for Maria's Art Studio. He drives away to shop some supplies and pick up the water heater.

We decided to buy a so-called "Hybrid Water Heater" by Whirlpool, i.e. it heats the water mainly by using the inbuilt heatpump. Though these typ of water heaters are about 3 times as expensive as the normal ones they are written off quickly by the savings in energy costs!

We found out that our old heater was leeking and we did not know how much longer it would last:
