February 6th: Pouring the slab
Today it happens: the footings and the slab of Maria's Art Studio will be poured.
At 7.30 am the first workers appear and at 8.30 it all starts: the concrete truck gets connected to the pump, let's go!

The concrete flows from the truck into the pump ...

... from which it is pumped via a long hose into the molds of the slab ...

... and is permanently smoothed and distributed during the process.

Now we know why they wear rubber boots! The slab is smoothed by using various devices and tools. One of the workers stays for several hours to repeat that process regularly. |

And then the boss removes the molds. The masonry can be started on Monday.
