April 6th: Insulation Inspection

Maria has scheduled the ceiling and wall insulation inspections (2 different inspections!). Around 10.00 am our inspector Kent comes by to check if the insulation installation is per code. This time we pass without any change requests. He signs both inspections and off he drives. These inspections are our favorites.

April 6th: Preparing the shutters
The rolldowns came in parts, i.e. Juergen has to assemble the tracks, the box, the shaft, the motor and the shield.

April 6th: Soffits
Before Juergen closes his "workshop" today he gives the soffits a first try.
Our construction plans specify that we have to install vented aluminum soffits. The fascia will be installed later on along the roof edge:
