After we passed the dry-in inspection yesterday Roberto and his guy come around at 8.00 am to install the shingles:
Yesterday Patrick and Juergen framed all window and door openings, sealed them to be waterproof and put up the windows and French doors without nailing them yet.
Juergen's work will be today to nail the window flanges down to the wooden frame: |

As Maria would like to have archtop openings it is necessary to build a frame as underconstruction for the stucco.
The windows within their frames:
In several steps the outer frame for around the top of the windows is built:
First grades are cut into a 2x4 stud, distance between grades: 5mm (about 3/16'), 7-8 mm (about 5/16') remain uncut ... |
... then these cut studs are bended and glued to the ready frame of plywood ... |
