Still working on the cables.
As the distance between the lamps and the first nail clamp on the wood is bigger than 6" it is necessary to stabilize the cable from the lamps separately by cable clamps (grombits) though the lamps have their own locking mechanism which is very strong!
Another rule which in our opinion is debatable but to be on the sure side we buy these clamps and Juergen installs them:

And then there comes another hurdle: the electrical boxes which have to be installed on top of the insulation boards are a bit too high. 1. they do not stick out of the drywall We are afraid to run into problems during the inspection when we cut a hole into the insulation boards. |
