We are expecting the electrical inspector today. We are a bit nervous as we are not sure if we observed all requirements of the Building Code.
But the inspector is done with the insepction within 5 minutes. He looks into the electrical boxes, pulls at a few wires and asks us about the number of circuits for the room. He is satisfied with our answer "4 circuits, 2 for the lights and 2 for the sockets". He does not even check the breaker box! Then he signs and off he drives. |

As we cannot continue with the work before the frame rough inspection (scheduled for Monday) has been signed he decides to continue the tiling of the patio beside Maria's Art Studio.
On Friday he fills up the "holes", i.e. laying the missing tiles he has to customize.
As there are these triangle-shaped gaps between the tiles around the outdoor sink Maria suggests to fill them up with white pebbles. Juergen is sceptical but then follows up with that idea. Do you not think it looks nice and unusualMaria schlägt vor, die Lücken mit weißen Kieselsteinen aufzufüllen. Nach erster Skepsis folgt Jürgen dem Vorschlag.
