Yesterday we spoke with our neighbor about how to proceed with the inspector. We are not sure if he needs to see directly how the valley trusses are fixed to the existing roof or if it is enough for him to use a flashlight under the plywood.
That's why Maria gives Kent, our building inspector, a call this morning. He would like to see the connections before the plywood is nailed on. We should call him as soon as we are ready for him.
There are still a view preparations to be done like cutting into the overhang of the existing roof and leveling the installed trusses.

We are warned by the neighbor that our waste service provider will not accept any roof waste in the regular bins. So we hope that the roofer will take the small bits and ... |

And now Juergen and Patrick start with the valley trusses which need to be connected to the existing roof. The target is to be ready with the trusses till the evening. Tomorrow stay plan to begin with nailing the plywood down.
