Today is the tie beam inspection scheduled. A building inspector has to check the number of irons and if they are connected to the tie beam of the house before the tie beam of the addition may be poured. The Inspector calls Billy to inform him that more of the control opening have to be drilled on eyelevel before he pours the concrete. This is to ensure that the concrete flow is not plugged on the way down without him being aware of that. Furthermore he wants to get more detailled specification of the tie beam from the design engineer who sealed the technical drawings. But still we pass the inspection without any remarks. |
