April 2nd: Window sills on the outside
"How shall we design the outside sills?" That was our question yesterday evening.
Then Juergen remembered that he had 10 granite tiles (12" x 12") left sitting in the garage.
Originally we had planned to use them in the computer area but they were left over as we made a smaller area than planned. And as the sills are that small each tile will be enough for 4 pieces (each 2,75") of window sill, i.e. 4 tiles are all what is needed for all sills!
We even have enough tiles left to enlarge the computer area by one row if we want to.

Tomorrow he will form a little concrete ramp in front of the patio doors and the whole side of the room to get rid of the step in front of Maria's Art Studio. We will buy the concrete tonight after dinner. |
