Unbelievable but true: at 10.00 this morning the truck with the flat bed trailer stopped at our house to deliver the trusses!
Both of us are sure that these were produced just yesterday (Friday). Probably Southwest Structural Systems could not find the order as the adressee was "Kensington's Home" (we have no idea why!).
Here is the big truck with a little bunch of trusses:

Now the "jigsaw puzzle" starts. But as a first step the bundle has to be talen apart: they are fixed by metal straps and long nails to each other:

We sort the trusses by numbers to make it easier with the framing.
But which part goes where?

But in the end they decide the puzzle out how to put the trusses together at their proper place, on top of the wall:
Holes are drilled to prepare for the connecting screws ... |
... the next step is to lift them up on top of the tie beam ... |
... here they are screwed on as per construction plan. |

But at dusk work has to be stopped. The other trusses have to be done on another day.
If you rollover with the mouse (NOT click)
you get information about the work done on that date.
If you click on the date the page for that day opens!
